Hi Michael- your ghoulash version sounds most tasty.My husband makes one in which he replaces the beef broth with Czech Pilsner and it has the effect of tenderizing the meat to perfection! And kids can eat it too as just about all of the alcohol evaporates during the cooking process....

Thank you for your note. It sounds like your husband's version sounds good, too. I wouldn't have thought to put alchohol in with the dish, but I will have to try it with that addition.
